Batch Yield Calculator
Yield % = actual output / theoretical output x 100
The result updates as valid values are entered.
CALCULATION GUIDE
Understand your calculation
Clear inputs, a practical example and the context you need to interpret your result.
How it works
Yield (%) = actual output ÷ theoretical output × 100, with both masses normalized to g.
Inputs and units
Enter nonnegative actual output and positive theoretical output in mg, g or kg. Use comparable material and moisture bases.
Worked example
9.5 kg ÷ 10 kg × 100 = 95.000% yield.
Interpreting the result
The actual output is 95% of the theoretical mass. Results above 100% remain visible for investigation.
Assumptions and limitations
No potency, moisture, sampling, reconciliation or recoverable-loss adjustment is applied. Yield alone does not determine batch release.
